The Excelsior Group (TEG) is proud to announce the recent hiring of three healthcare real estate specialists to the TEG Real Estate Advisory Team. The group is made up of Steve Brown, Misty Bowe and Jake Sampson who have been working as a team for the past six years. Their team is the leading healthcare real estate advisory practice in the Midwest, exclusively representing healthcare tenants and hospital systems throughout the region. Their platform is distinctly unique in that it combines a user-specific approach, together with a healthcare only focus, and an extensive understanding of the needs of healthcare practices, systems and the daily challenges they face.
Steve Brown is a 32 year veteran in the Twin Cities real estate industry, and has been involved in healthcare related real estate since 1986. Prior to joining TEG, Steve was the creator and founder of the Healthcare Advisory Group at United Properties in 2000. Over the past 17 years his role as the leader of this group has transitioned from United Properties to Cushman & Wakefield NorthMarq, where he was most recently the Executive Director of the Healthcare Advisory Group. His team continues to be a market leader in the healthcare sector. Steve grew up in, and is currently a resident of, Edina where he has been active as an athletic coach as well as an 11 year member of the Edina Planning Commission.
Misty Bowe joined Steve’s Healthcare Advisory Group in 2010, and became Steve’s partner in 2014. She has 14 years of experience in commercial real estate, spending the past 7 years focused exclusively in the healthcare sector. She received the Rising Star Award from Cushman & Wakefield NorthMarq in 2014. Misty lives in Chaska and is currently a member of the Chaska Planning Commission.
Jake Sampson joined the Healthcare Advisory Group full time in 2015. Prior, he spent two summers interning with the group while attending the University of Minnesota. Jake grew up in Edina, and is an active alumnus of the Edina hockey program.
