As Executive Vice President of Operations for Real Estate Advisory, Mike is responsible for overseeing the Real Estate Advisory team including creating a business plan, overseeing and managing the budget and developing a growth strategy. He has a passion for optimizing work environments across the globe, enabling employees to contribute more effectively to the organization’s success and is known for integrating and managing the physical and virtual segments of acquisitions and divestitures. As an expert in managing Corporate Real Estate and Facilities, ERA will expand it’s capabilities in supporting our clients.

As a high-energy, results oriented executive, Mike has a track record of expense and capital reduction through cost saving programs and successful business integrations. He combines strategic business management experiences with innovative problem solving and is a decisive leader who implements key initiatives of the organization leveraging executive alignment and change management strategies across the enterprise.

Previously, Mike was Vice President Global Workplace Solutions for General Mills, where he retired after 35 years. While at General Mills, Mike oversaw real estate, facilities, corporate constructions, global service desk, and employee services. He managed an annual expense budget of over $75MM including 150 General Mills employees and 200+ contractors. He builds high performance cultures of accountability and inclusiveness, and his peers depend on him to develop strong cross-functional teams that deliver results through maximum employee engagement.

Mike holds a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, along with completing a four-month executive development program from Henley Management College in Henley, England.
